ok with my first blog everything was connected to my first gmail account and i want to keep things separate so i have created a send blog which will hopefully be separate and i can keep my work and personal life separate.
palying catch up this week...it's the middle of week 3 and have just finished wikis. Lot's to learn. Biggest pearl: the younger generations are working much differently!
I enjoyed del.ici.ous found a number of interesting sites and added the button to my toolbar...just have to add it at home so can have access there too.
bigesst probalm is i can get lost in all the list and loose tract of time : )
well either things are getting easier or i'm getting better. the office live type products seemed reasonably easy to use. thought stephanie and i will try out the sharing aspect this week in order to create a document for our surgery clerkship.
podcasting seems to be a very good way of presenting information in a format that our students respond to.
i was disappointed that there wasnt any direct information on how to create podcasts...i know that i can look tht up but it would have been a nice adjunct to the process.
for videocasting: equipment seems to be important...some of the sound quality was from deep caves and other video was not sharp...if we as educational institutions will be competing with MTV and other such visuals we need to allocate funds/gain acces to appropriate equipment.
doesnt have to be fancy/espensive this can be done on a budget but it must look professional!
well made it to week 8. this eight week program has been fantastic. i learned how much i dont know!!!!
my mother keeps telling me what a wiz I am but there is amazing stuff out there and i didnt have a clue...now to figure out how to keep up with everything! : )
